TATE 01 fragrance: separate the launch timetable from a regional store listing

TATE 01 has two kinds of official record: a dated launch announcement and a changing direct-store product page. They answer different questions. The announcement describes a channel rollout; the store page describes a particular shopping route. Neither alone guarantees availability at a chosen address.

Sources checked on 22 October 2026. This is a record of what the parties published, not a scent review, stock alert or delivery promise.

Preserve the announced dates as announced dates

The Scent Beauty release dated 1 October identifies the fragrance as a partnership with Tate McRae. It describes direct-to-consumer launch and names Ulta Beauty as the exclusive U.S. retail partner, with an announced Ulta.com date of 16 October and an in-store date of 25 October.

Those are the release’s timetable. This article has not confirmed store-by-store implementation or that the online rollout occurred exactly as announced. A calendar date passing is not itself evidence of a completed retail launch. The U.S. partner statement also should not be expanded into a worldwide distribution agreement.

Read the store page in its regional context

On the checked date, the TATE 01 direct-store page displayed 30 ml and 100 ml options and identified the U.S., Canada, UK and EU as shipping regions, with geographic exclusions in its shipping text. A visible size selector is a page feature, not proof that every size is stocked for every region.

We have not carried an older “restocking soon” statement forward as a current fact. Prices, dispatch expectations and address eligibility must be checked in the selected market at the time of ordering. No checkout was completed and no inventory or fulfillment result is claimed.

A channel comparison that can be updated

  1. Identify the seller: distinguish the brand’s own store from a retail partner.
  2. Name the market: record the country selection and any stated geographic exclusions.
  3. Record the format: copy the exact size offered by that seller rather than extending a launch-wide size range to every listing.
  4. Separate listing from fulfillment: distinguish a displayed product, an accepted order, dispatch and delivery. They are different events.
  5. Timestamp the observation: replace an expired availability note only after reading a newer source.

This gives readers a useful comparison without treating marketing descriptions as independent wear testing or turning a launch plan into a live-stock guarantee. For other dated company announcements, browse the Beauty News archive.
