Quick answer. Amorepacific Group’s 31 July 2026 release reports double-digit year-on-year growth in its Korean online and “MBS” channels during Q2. It also describes results around Amazon Prime Day in the U.S. and Europe and Qoo10 Japan Mega Wari. These are company-reported channel observations, not independently verified retailer rankings or a complete breakdown of sales by platform.
Source checked: 22 October 2026. The quarter ended 30 June 2026. The English release is the group’s own performance account.
What the channel wording actually says
The group’s consolidated table reports second-quarter revenue of KRW 1.2543 trillion and operating profit of KRW 122.8 billion. Those are group-wide figures. The release then discusses its leading subsidiary, Amorepacific, and describes online and MBS as key domestic growth drivers. It says each channel recorded double-digit growth during the quarter, but does not provide a sales amount, the precise meaning of MBS, or a breakdown by brand within either channel.
That makes the channel statement useful as a directional company disclosure, but limited as a comparison. A reader cannot calculate online’s share of Korean revenue, compare the channel directly with offline stores, or assume the same growth across every brand. The safest wording keeps “MBS” as Amorepacific uses it in the release and asks for a company definition before expanding the abbreviation.
Marketplace event claims need their own labels
For overseas channels, Amorepacific says LANEIGE, COSRX, ILLIYOON and Mise-en-Scène products ranked among top sellers in beauty and personal-care categories during Amazon Prime Day in the United States and Europe, with record-high sales. It separately says COSRX ranked number one in Amazon Beauty categories in Germany and the United Kingdom. For Japan, the company describes COSRX’s best-ever performance during Qoo10 Japan Mega Wari and says the brand was named number one for the first half of the year at the Qoo10 Japan Mega Beauty Awards 2026.
These statements should not be merged into a single global ranking. “Top sellers” does not specify an exact rank, category denominator or time window beyond the event reference. The award belongs to the named Qoo10 program, as reported by the company. The release does not provide an independent audit of the claimed sales, the rules used to compare brands, or the underlying totals.
Keep geography and business units distinct
The release says overseas online and offline channels grew across the Americas, EMEA and Japan, while it separately reports declines in the company-defined North Asia region amid channel optimization. In this document, North Asia means Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan Region, excluding Japan and Korea. It is not the same geographic grouping as EMEA or a standalone Mainland China result. The company says it continued to focus on core channels but does not quantify the effect of each adjustment.
Amorepacific’s own brand examples span several markets and platforms. They help show how the company describes its route to market; they do not establish that a product is available in every region or that an event result persists after the promotion. Current assortment, shipping, price and stock were not researched here.
Evidence and limitations. Every performance and ranking statement is attributed to the issuer. No independent marketplace dataset or consumer survey was reviewed. A reader should look for a later release that defines the channel measure, event window and rank methodology before making numerical comparisons.
